Thanks to Fred and Cindy for their vision of Pioneer Point so many years ago, proud that you never gave up. It is a true home away from home...Peaceful, relaxing, and fun can be had by all. Get to the Point....PIONEER POINT CAMPGROUND AND EVENT CENTER.

We had a wonderful stay! The owners Cindy and Freddie are the most inviting and sweet people you will ever want to meet. It shows in how all the seasonal campers band together to help and support them and each other. We met so many awesome and wonderful new friends! The campground is rustic and full of nature. Plenty of room to do just about anything -large spaces. They say Disney is the funnest place in the world -we disagree! Pioneer park is! We can't wait to get back to "The Point "! We love you all!

The owners are very nice people who care about all their campers have a positive experience so they will come enjoy what has been over a thirty year commitment to development on their part.

Fire wood , Ice &Fresh Eggs are sold on the premises. The new coin laundry recently added for campers convince has been a big plus for the moms to make life easier in keeping up on their families clothes. The Frog pond was completed this june and is a big hit with both young and old.

Pioneer Point is my home away from home. I have never felt more safe and welcome in a campground. I tell all my friends to come here, there is always something to do and the tranquility is a 10 out of 10. I am sorry about the person who claimed a bad experience, but I must say I have been camping here for well over 6 years - and never once have I seen or heard of anyone being rude - very much the opposite. A true family seasonal or short visit. My first time camping I met some of the greatest people, within a few hours we were invited to tour the property, and dinner! I love everyone at this little slice of heaven! Just one person's humble opinion.

You have many like minded people there too, that just want to enjoy the slower pace life , unwind and get back to the basics of life.

The events at their huge outdoor pavilion is always worth checking out..Megan Rae band on the 4Th was great entertainment.

This is a beautiful campground...Lots of well established trails to walk or ride a golf cart on. Truly nature at its finest...sand cranes, deer, turtles, frogs, of course...raccoons. Mini ponies too.

Completely rude i do not recomend

The seasonal customers were very rude and the owners are money hungry. There were three of us staying out there for a longer period of time and we met a really cool guy camping out there as well, the guy was having money issues so we were going to let him split a site with us. According to the rules you are allowed to have four people per site. Apparently the rules can be changed without notice. They are just inconsiderate, rude, and very much money motivated. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER! There are a million other campgrounds, do not go here unless you like to be talked down to and treated like dirt. I have owned my own business by the way...two of them. They are still running and growing profoundly. I gave them to people less fortunate than myself. I have a college education and know exactly what I am talking about.
